Positive: Staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and friendly and really went the extra mile to make our stay as smooth as possible. Be it organising snorkel trips, helping with room issues, recommending restaurants, art galleries etc. Terrific location and the property itself is beautiful.

Negative: Not sure if we got unlucky with our room but given the high price, we were very disappointed. Some aspects of the finish felt untidy, e.g lamp, tv, WiFi cables under the tv being loose on the floor rather than being obscured behind a solid unit, inside the wall or similar.. looked untidy and also meant the room wasn’t fully dark when the lights were out due to the bright blue light from the WiFi box. Right hand side of the bed needs more sockets - the lamp and hotel phone being plugged in on that side meant no bedside socket to charge anything, which was inconvenient. Layout of the room meant the tea and coffee facilities were crammed in the same wardrobe as our clothes, down a set of stairs away from the main room. Bathroom being down a set of stairs meant it received no A/C and so got uncomfortably warm at times. No full length mirror anywhere in the room made getting ready more difficult. A/C unit itself was an old unit that had limited cooling power for such a large room, so the room was warm - so much so that we had to ask for a fan to provide additional cooling. Also a loose floor tile or two. Some of these things may seem like nitpicks, but I do think they are things that should be covered, given the price paid. Overall, the room felt in need of maintenance / refurbishment.
