Our duplex penthouse apartment is situated on the popular Roda Golf Resort which is close to San Javier and Los Alcazares. The property has 2 good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, each with a shower and marbled flooring throughout the property. It has a full kitchen, which includes a dishwasher plus a utility room with washing machine.
The lounge/dining area is open plan with a dining table and chairs, a large sofa bed, TV with UK channels and Wi-Fi. From the lounge you have patio doors which lead out onto a terrace where you can sit and enjoy the sun. Access onto the balcony can also be gained from the downstairs bedroom. There is a CO2 monitor and fire extinguisher in the property. The property also has air conditioning and heating throughout.
One of the huge benefits of this apartment is the large private roof terrace where you can utilize the gas BBQ, dine out under the stars, have a drink or laze on a sunbed. The terrace area has the benefit of all day sun and there is a fitted awning to provide a shaded area if you require. Sit with your favourite tipple whilst watching golfers on the 14th green and 15th tee box or just chill and soak up the sun. The property also has an outdoor shower area so you can cool off. There are incredible sunrise and sunset views from the balcony along with views of the golf course and the Mar Menor lagoon in the distance.
The property is managed by Roda FM so you can be assured that there is a local contact should this be required during your stay. They will also meet and greet guests (9.00 – 23.00) and have you settled straight away. Please let us know if you intend arriving outside of these hours.
The complex has a fantastic 18-hole, par 72 golf course, a driving range and putting green as well as 24/7 gated security and an excellent restaurant and bar. There is also a modern gym on site, and this can be used for a daily/weekly fee if required. There are numerous multinational restaurants and bars in the surrounding area and short taxi trip will have you in Los Alcazares, San Javier or Los Narejos. Some residents and guests do prefer to walk into town which is quiet pleasant, as long as it’s not too hot.
The resort is only 2 km from the beaches of Mar Menor where you can enjoy the beach, try one of the various water sports or eat out at a chiringuito on the promenade. Many activities can be found along the Mar Menor and surrounding areas.
