Positive: I loved staying on this little boat! It felt like a real adventure and such a lovely change from the usual hotel. The location is great — closer to the Gothic Quarter than many similarly priced options, yet peaceful and quiet at night. I loved watching the dramatic sunsets, then falling asleep to the gentle rocking of the water. The boat is cozy, with nice lighting, a comfortable enough bed, and just what you need for simple meals — a microwave, a few pots and pans, and cutlery. There's no fridge, so I brought a cooler bag and purchased ice nearby for my fresh foods. The host met me on arrival, showed me how everything worked, and was very friendly and accommodating. After that, I had the place entirely to myself, which made it feel even more special. A few helpful things to know: the toilet on board is for peeing only, but there’s a proper bathroom and shower about 100 metres away, which are clean and well maintained. Getting on and off the boat means pulling yourself up using the rail, so it helps to be reasonably mobile. The marina gate isn’t locked, but the area is patrolled 24/7. There’s also a great little market right in the marina with coffee, crafts, and pizza, and the nearby Mapfre photography gallery is excellent.

Negative: Honestly, it was all great.
